Headliners Dave Stewart Eurythmics featuring Vanessa Amorosi will be performing iconic global hits such as Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), Would I Lie to You? and Here Comes the Rain Again.
Their appearance at Selwyn Sounds will be their only New Zealand show.
The festival returned more than $45,000 to local groups at its 2026 show.
Also joining the line-up are British pop favourites ABC.
Led by Martin Fry, the band rose to global fame with album The Lexicon of Love and hit singles including The Look of Love and Poison Arrow, becoming one of the defining acts of the 1980s.
Kiwi favourites will also take to the stage at Selwyn Sounds 2027, including Bic Runga.
Festival co-founder David Parlane said reaching the 10-festival milestone was a proud moment.
“When we started Selwyn Sounds, we simply wanted to create a great day out for people who love live music,” Parlane said.
“To now be celebrating our 10th festival and welcoming 10,000 people to Lincoln is incredibly rewarding.”
The festival returned more than $45,000 to local groups at its 2026 show.
Parlane said the list of performers for 2027 was the “biggest” yet.
“This is the biggest line-up we’ve had, and we’re excited to bring together a mix of international acts and Kiwi favourites that we know our audience will love,” Parlane said.
The announcement follows a record-breaking year for the festival, with the 2026 event selling out in just eight weeks – the fastest sell-out in Selwyn Sounds’ history.
The 2027 event will welcome 10,000 people to Lincoln for the 10th festival.
The festival has also become a significant supporter of local community groups, returning more than $45,000 to schools, sports clubs and volunteer organisations through fundraising partnerships from the 2026 event alone.
Parlane said the festival “has always been about more than music”.
“The support we receive from volunteers and community groups is a huge part of what makes Selwyn Sounds special, and we’re proud to be able to give back each year,” he said.
Pre-sale tickets will be available from July 21, with general public sales opening on July 23.
