BETHLEHEM, Pa.- ArtsQuest announced it will begin offering visual arts courses for students, artists, and other visitors at its new Creative Factory in October.
Creative Factory’s construction is nearing completion and serves to expand access and education of the arts as part of ArtsQuest’s Re-Imagine That! Capital Campaign, ArtsQuest said in a news release.
The courses will cover ceramics, fiber arts, drawing and painting, paper and printmaking, photography and digital media, and more, according to the report.
“After years of planning, design and construction and amazing public and private sector support, it’s incredibly exciting to reach the point where we can begin inviting the community into this space,” Kassie Hilgert, President & CEO of ArtsQuest, said.
Creative Factory will replace the former Banana Factory and will be 78,500 square feet long, according to the report.

The factory will include an expanded ceramics studio, new printmaking facilities, a recording studio, community gathering areas, and more, according to the release.
ArtsQuest said additional information regarding performing arts, comedy, educational programs, exhibitions and grand opening activities will be shared in the coming months.
