“The US market is our largest, with robust demand for our products into potable water, wastewater, dairy, footwear and marine applications in the fourth quarter.”
The seasonal peak for sales of dairy consumables in the New Zealand market has also been higher than expected.
“We have navigated a period of significant uncertainty on the availability of key materials and whilst challenges remain, the risks around security of supply have receded somewhat,” he said.
Lower US tariff costs and the weaker NZ dollar also contributed to the higher-than-expected fourth quarter earnings.
Skellerup will report its results for the full 2026 year on August 20.
