The Evanston Art Center will host an upcoming exhibition titled “Pages From My Notebook” by artist Voytek Glinkowski from Aug. 8 to Sep. 13 with an opening reception free to the public from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday Aug. 9. The display will be held in the second floor gallery of the center.
Glinkowski received a master’s degree in Fine Arts from the Strzeminski Fine Art Academy in Poland. His work has been exhibited in over 30 individual and group shows in the United States and Europe including at Stricoff Fine Art Gallery in New York, Discovery Galleries in Bethesda, Atlas Galleries in Chicago, Vail Fine Art Gallery in Vail, Triada Gallery in Gdansk and Newborough Avenue Gallery in Boston.
“Every day, most of the time we are processing and transferring messages, news, pictures and feelings into the notebooks of our minds,” Glinkowski said. “The fabrics of those thoughts and images become ‘Pages From My Notebook.’ I don’t want to lose them. One never knows.”
