They were transferred to Kokako Rescue, and after securing the stricken vessel, it was towed back into Mangawhai.
“Both the two crew and their vessel were safely brought back into the boat ramp, very happy to be ashore,” Coastguard Mangawhai said.
The spokesperson said it was a great outcome, with full credit to the Kokako crew for a job “extremely well done”.
