A new digital spin-off from Emmerdale will launch this weekend.
Dingle Court, produced by ITV Studios, will be available to stream on the soap’s YouTube channel from Sunday (19 July). New episodes will be released weekly thereafter.
The series is shot on the set of Wishing Well Cottage at the Leeds Studios, the ramshackle home of the Dingle clan since they first appeared on our screens in 1994. Two podcast mics will be placed on the family’s dining table, ready for a discussion between cast members.
Think Loose Women, but with the cast of Emmerdale.
Cast members will sit down to debate an array of light-hearted topics, with the drama promising that everything “from the mundane to the bizarre” will be brought to the table.

They even tease that “no topic is off-limits”.
The first episode will feature long-serving actors Jeff Hordley and Eden Taylor-Draper, who have played siblings Cain and Belle Dingle since 2000 and 2005, respectively.
While the feature kicks off with two of the unruly family, the Dingle door will be left ajar for familiar faces from other famous families to take a seat and join the conversation.

A first-look clip sees Jeff posing the topic of… “people”. Eden jokes that she’s already “out”!
This is followed by a clip of late patriarch Zak (Steve Halliwell), who clearly provided inspiration in an old scene, which shows him sat at the table and exclaiming “this court is now in session”.
Eden then asks Jeff whether he thinks it’s OK for people to go to the same place on holiday again, and he fires back by asking her opinion on satin pyjamas. There’s no holds barred as she shouts out – three times – that she hates them.
She then makes a bizarre admission that she doesn’t have a toilet roll holder.
Emmerdale certainly wasn’t exaggerating when it said that the most unusual of subjects would be discussed!
