Crowds gathered at Friday’s Studio in West Perth last Thursday for a photography exhibition spotlighting mental health and loneliness in the creative industry.

The exhibition, titled Façades: Stories Unseen, was created by The Brand Agency’s Head of Design and Perth Advertising and Design Club (PADC) Co-President, Dan Agostino.

It featured works from nearly 50 artists and photographers showcasing a deeply personal self-portrait, with the purpose of encouraging ‘difficult conversation’s around mental health, vulnerability and connection in the industry.

“The willingness of everyone to step in front of their own lens and share something so personal was incredibly humbling. This exhibition truly belongs to them,” said Mr Agostino.

“The project was never about fixing mental health overnight,” he continued.

“But if it helps even a few people feel less alone or gives someone the confidence to start a conversation they’ve been putting off, then every image on these walls has been worth it.”
