HarmonyOS 6.1 global update has now reached the Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro with many new customizations and UI changes. The company also improved certain existing functionalities of the wearable, making them easier to use and more convenient.
Watch Fit 4 Pro debuted last year in May. It is the first “Pro” variant in the Watch FIT series’ history with a bold look and more fascinating features than the vanilla version.
In the past few weeks, Huawei has released the HarmonyOS 6.1 smartwatch upgrade to many global models. Watch 5, Ultimate 2, and GT 6 series have already gained new capabilities. Now it’s time for the Watch Fit 4 Pro users to get the new update.
The company is rolling out the HarmonyOS 6.1 global update for the Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro with the 6.1.0.117 SP20 version. The firmware brings several custom features for the UI, enhancing the home screen and lock screen interaction.
Huawei has added new watch faces like Sweet companions, Bubble Aura, Nap Summary, and a Recorder app. Users can also customize ringtones for calls and mute incoming calls through the cover screen.
One can further personalize the snooze timing and vibration effect for the Watch Fit 4 Pro with the new update. More useful features of this build are given below.

New Features
Adds the Sweet Companions watch face, which allows you to personalize its features. Playful animations appear when you tap the watch face, turn on the screen, or charge your device.
Adds the Bubble Aura watch face. You can tap the bubbles to trigger a fun chair reaction. (To download the watch face, open the Huawei Health app and go to Devices > My Watch Faces > Pleasure).
Introduces the Nap Summary feature, which tracks your naps and creates a custom summary.
Allows you to easily mute incoming calls by covering the screen.
Allows customization of the ringtone for incoming calls and offers more choices.
Allows you to view all contacts on your phone under Contacts.
Adds the Recorder app, which supports long-term recordings.
Adds a shortcut settings screen, accessible by swiping right on the workout screen. There, you can easily adjust the workout reminder volume or change workout settings.
Adds average pace data to the performance prediction in the training status.
Optimizations
Allows you to personalize the alarm delay and vibration pattern to suit your individual needs. To adjust vibration settings, go to Settings > Sounds & Vibration > Vibration > Custom.
Receives timely notifications on your phone when your watch is low on battery, fully charged, or not being worn. (Please ensure Huawei Health is running on version 16.0.12.305 or later.)
Supports remote shutter release, AI voice, and speech-to-text input for Android phones.
Provides deeper insights into your workout status with professional metrics.
Differentiates between aerobic and anaerobic activities to track training load.
Identifies the optimal training load zone in the training status.
