They continued to appeal for sightings of Saxzin in the Dargaville or wider area from about 3.30pm on the day he went missing.
“Police are eager to have him reunited with his family, who are worried for his safety.”

Mother Angie Steedman told the Advocate early in the search she was worried.
“I am concerned about his safety because, you know, his bank account hasn’t been touched, and he doesn’t have any clothes and stuff.”
She could not think of a reason for her son, who has autism, to disappear.
Her most recent social media post said Saxzin’s loved ones needed to know what had happened to him.
She asked people with information to come forward.
“Even leave a note somewhere it can be found.”
