Gisborne police are investigating an unexplained death in the suburb of Kaiti.

Detective Senior Sergeant John Love said emergency services were called to the Crawford Rd address just before 1.50am today.

“The public can expect to see an increased Police presence in the area over the coming days as investigations
continue,” Love said in a statement.

He urged anyone with information to contact 105, or online at 105.police.govt.nz.
