The Beach Boys pull out of Wisconsin State Fair concert

The Beach Boys are no longer coming to the Wisconsin State Fair next month.

The Beach Boys are no longer coming to the Wisconsin State Fair next month.

State Fair officials announced the concert scheduled for the fair’s final day on Aug. 16 is canceled.

“We’ve been having a blast out there, and to keep the good vibrations going strong, we’ll be taking a short break,” the group announced Wednesday in a statement.

State Fair said there will not be a replacement act at the Bank Five Nine Main Stage.

People who bought tickets should begin receiving refunds shortly, officials said.

The Wisconsin State Fair starts Thursday, Aug. 6.
