COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — It’s award season again!
The 2026 National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Ohio Valley Chapter Emmy Awards ceremony took place Saturday night in Louisville, Kentucky.
The ABC6 and FOX 28 family raked in 20 nominations for this years awards cycle.
The nominations highlight the outstanding work in journalism, sports coverage, investigative reporting, special event programming, and creative storytelling across television and digital platforms for our staff.
The dedicated reporters, anchors, photographers, producers, editors, and content creators throughout the newsroom were thrilled to be honored for their commitment to delivering fair, accurate and urgent coverage to our audiences daily.
“This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire team,” station leadership said while announcing the nominations. “It’s exciting to see our storytelling recognized by our peers across the region.”
ABC6 and FOX 28 took home a total of nine Emmy’s at this years ceremony.
