Huawei Mate 80 series sales have now reached the “8 million” mark. The flagship lineup is performing well in its home market, and the constantly growing demand for the 2025 Mate models suggests that they will soon hit their main goal – 10 million!
According to the recent sales data by a smartphone market analyst, Huawei Mate 80 series sales have scored over 8 million units as of the 29th week of this year.
Details further reveal that the tech giant sold approximately 7.9205 million units between July 13 and July 19, showing an increase of more than 100,000 units weekly.
Based on these inputs, Wiebo tipster @RDObservation stated that the Mate 80 series flagship has seemingly exceeded 8 million units in the 30th week (July 20-26).
The shipment volume of the Mate 80 smartphones continues to rise as we approach the launch time of the next-gen Mate lineup. And it seems the 2025 flagship will soon achieve its biggest milestone – 10 million units in sales.
Mate 80 series has shown the fastest growth in the smartphone market over other Huawei Mate handsets. The lineup has several highlights that attract consumers towards it. From design to chipset, Huawei has added significant upgrades to the series.
Firstly, the dual ring design on the back makes the Mate 80 models look more appealing than before. While the OEM has retained the signature color and camera appearance, the extra ring structure hints at the Mate 80’s limitless performance.
On the greener side, the combination of HarmonyOS 6.0 + Kirin 9030 series chipsets unlocked a whole new level of performance boost. Huawei has made prominent upgrades to the vanilla version of the family, which accounts for the highest sales units.
The company is now up with the Mate 90 series smartphones and will likely launch them by September. By the time, whether the 2025 flagship hits its key milestone is worth looking at!
