Overnight, FX has dropped the trailer for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s 18th season. Coming to Hulu (in the US) and Disney+ here in Australia, the trailer confirms that the historic 18th season of the long-running and incredible sitcom will premiere on 17 August 2026. We’ve reached out to Disney locally to confirm if It’s Always Sunny 18 will be available on Disney+ here at the same time it airs in the US.

Per FX, “Charlie, Mac, Dennis, Dee and Frank are more out of control than ever, taking on inheritances, automation, conspiracy theories, sobriety’s cultural swing and chaos at Paddy’s. With outrageous moments, star cameos, and Philly nods, The Gang proves age hasn’t brought wisdom.”

It’s Always Sunny Season 18

In the trailer (above), we get a good look at what’s to come in the season, including the McPoyles at the Ren Fair, Frank’s human trafficking, and the Gang getting unreasonably upset about a non-alcoholic beer. We also get to see guest star Carol Kane, who appears to be a corpse that Frank marries.

It’s Always Sunny’s 18th season will include 10 episodes, with the titles of four of them having been released so far. Two episodes will be released on 17 August, with one episode per week to follow.

Episode 1 – Frank Marries a Corpse – Written by Charlie Day

Episode 2 – Dennis and Dee Don’t Get Rich – Written by Charlie Day & Glenn Howerton

Episode 3 – The Gang Gets Tested – Written by Charlie Day & Glenn Howerton

Episode 4 – 2026: A Virtual Insanity

After 18 seasons, you’d think It’s Always Sunny would be out of ideas or at the very least, start to slip in quality, but it hasn’t so far and season 18 looks to be about as good as it gets.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia will premiere with two episodes on 17 August 2026 on FX, Hulu and Disney+.
