Sean “Diddy” Combs is set to leave prison sooner than previously expected.

The convictions were a partial outcome. A jury found Combs guilty on the two prostitution-related counts but acquitted him of the most serious charges, racketeering conspiracy and s** trafficking, which could have carried a life sentence. He had pleaded not guilty, and he and his legal team have appealed. He remains in custody while the appeal is pending.
His time at Fort Dix has been eventful. Combs was placed in solitary confinement in July after a reported altercation with another inmate, according to NBC News. TMZ reported that the fight began when an inmate insulted Combs and that staff broke it up quickly. His representatives have not detailed the incident.
