Two armed robbers are on the run after attempting to snatch tills from an Auckland restaurant last night, police say.
Just after 11.30pm, two offenders entered a Great North Rd restaurant at Henderson with what appeared to be non-firearm weapons, acting Detective Inspector Megan Goldie said.
The pair threatened staff
before unsuccessfully attempting to take the tills.
