“Police’s thoughts are with her family, and they are being offered any required support,” he said.
After news of her disappearance, police said her family were concerned for her welfare after recent comments she had made.
Williams earlier said Jennins had no form of transport but had used taxis in the past.
During the search, police had contacted taxi companies and believed she may have caught a taxi from Roseberry Ave or elsewhere in the wider Birkenhead area.
Jennins’ death was not considered suspicious and is to be referred to the Coroner.
