If that isn’t enough for Kiwi fans, here are the top five things you can do at Wahsworld and on the Gold Coast throughout the week.
Ride the rollercoasters
The park is filled with plenty of rides for thrillseekers and kids, from the loopy Gold Coaster to the Giggle and Hoot Pirate Ship.
Fans of simulator rides can go on Sky Voyager, which takes riders to a wide variety of locations around the world, and The Dreamworld Flyer can give Warriors fans a nice view of the park.

Take the drop (kick)
Dreamworld’s tallest attraction, The Giant Drop stands at 119m high. It liftspunters up for an unrivalled sense of being on top of the world then drops them down to Earth at a terrifying rate of knots…
Warriors connection: … just like when the Warriors gave up a 22-point halftime lead and lost to Penrith in 2017.
See the animals
There are plenty of Australian animals to check out, from the saltwater crocodile and fat-tailed dunnart to the koala and bilby, with talks and presentations to better understand these animals and the role they play in the country’s environment.
If you’re looking for something a little more international, head over to Tiger Island where the Bengal and Sumatran varieties of the species are available to check out and, if you’re lucky, help to feed.
Warriors connection: Animals? In the weeks following this trip to the Gold Coast, the Warriors are roasting the Panthers, Broncos and Rabbitohs. Delicious.

Eat!
Although Wahsworld will be serving up some Kiwi-inspired food as part of their night markets, visitors during the day will still need to find a way to keep themselves fuelled up for all the fun they will be having in the sun.
Like any good theme park there are plenty of food options available at every turn, with churros, pies, pizza and hot dogs readily available.
There are sit-down options available as well, including the jungle-themed Jane’s Rivertown Restaurant.
Warriors connection: Jackson Ford eats up metres every time he has the ball in hand, the least you could do to honour him is put in a solid performance at the buffet.

Hit the beach
A trip to the Gold Coast wouldn’t be complete without a dip in the ocean and, luckily for visitors, there are plenty of top-notch beaches available.
Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach offer good options in the north, while those looking to venture further south can head to Burleigh Heads and sample a few of the cafes on offer as well.
Warriors connection: Dallin Watene-Zelezniak has hit plenty of mana wave celebrations this year, why not catch a few waves while thinking about how good he is.

Explore nature
Despite seeing a few of Australia’s best animals at Wahsworld, there are also opportunities to head out and see them in their natural surroundings.
Whale watching is popular from June to October, with boat tours available or they can sometimes be seen from viewpoints such as Point Danger.
Away from the coast is the Gold Coast Hinterland, which offers plenty of hikes, waterfalls and lookouts.
Springbrook National Park and Cougal Cascades provide jaw-dropping scenery and places to cool off from the heat, while those looking for a bit of comfort can check out any of the smaller towns in the area for a quick snack break.
Warriors connection: Have you seen the new Te Taiao range? If that doesn’t want to make you run out in the bush I don’t know what will.
