In addition to funding individual items, anyone can make general contributions up to US$5000 ($8500).
The reaction online has only been one of disbelief, one person saying it was “embarrassing”.
“I think that influencers who get sponsored weddings are cringe, but asking for cash? Next level shame.”
Another person thought it was “absolutely WILD” while another called it audacious.
“I’m sorry but she’s full on cringe doing this. Go to city hall like everyone else who can’t afford a lavish wedding or figure it out,” wrote a commenter on X.

Cipriani, whose rugby career spanned more than 20 years, proposed to the Days of Our Lives actor on Christmas Day 2025.
The engagement took place at the couple’s Los Angeles home, with family and friends present.
“I cried for 10 minutes straight,” McCord said in an interview with People magazine.
“At some point, I realised I had to answer. I said, ‘Yes, but I can’t even speak,’ and he replied, ‘That’s okay, it’s actually a good sign that you are quiet for once.’ Then we’re all laughing.”
McCord rose to fame in 2007 on Nip/Tuck, before landing the role of Naomi Clark in Beverly Hills, 90210, where she starred from 2008 to 2013. Since 2024, she has appeared on the long-running soap Days of Our Lives.
Cipriani played for two decades in rugby, representing Wasps, Sale Sharks, Gloucester and Bath. The fly-half and fullback also represented England on the world stage.
