He is said to have a job at a local sound engineering company. The exact role is not known.
Locals told the Daily Mail no one wanted to know much about him.
“We don’t want to know about him around here. He’s like a ghost,” a resident said.
“He’s disappeared off the face of the Earth and most people are happy for it to stay like that.”
The source added that “apparently he has a job now, although no major company would go near him”.
Pistorius reportedly lives with his uncle Arnold and a mini poodle in a Pretoria mansion.

The house includes a swimming pool, a gym, and security.
The former Olympian was released on parole in January 2024. His parole conditions are set to remain in place until his sentence expires in 2029.

His parole conditions include monitoring by authorities for the remainder of his sentence.
Pistorius will also need to inform authorities if he changes address or seeks job opportunities.
He is reportedly also required to continue anger management therapy and attend sessions on gender-based violence.
Steenkamp died after Pistorius shot her four times in the head, hip and arm, through a locked bathroom door.

He claimed he believed she was an intruder and it was only when he broke down the door, he realised it was her.
Despite his claims, a jury convicted him of the murder.
