Smith still faces allegations he supplied cocaine to New South Wales and Sydney Roosters forward Victor Radley on June 7, 2025. The Australian has not been charged with an offence.
In a statement, the South Sydney Rabbitohs said the club acknowledges the outcome of the court proceedings.
“The Rabbitohs have informed the NRL Integrity Unit of the outcome of these proceedings,” the statement read.
“The Rabbitohs have no further comment to make on this matter.”
Born on Waiheke Island, Smith debuted for the Melbourne Storm in 2017 and played for the Roosters before joining South Sydney.
The 30-year-old won the 2020 NRL grand final with the Melbourne Storm, beating the Penrith Panthers 26-20 and was sent to the sin bin in the final minute of the match.
He has played 13 tests for the Kiwis and represented the Māori All Stars three times.
