The MISSION 1 PRO is still a very new product, positioned at the top of GoPro’s lineup with an 8K60 recording mode, a 1-inch sensor, 50MP stills, high-frame-rate recording, and HyperSmooth stabilization.
The $599 price is also interesting because GoPro originally offered similar pricing as a benefit for existing GoPro subscribers, while the regular MSRP remained $699.99. Amazon is now effectively bringing that price to regular buyers without requiring a GoPro subscription. For users who were interested in the MISSION 1 PRO but considered the original $699 price a little high, the new $599 price makes the camera considerably more attractive.
