The City of Carmel will honor Daniel Moriarity, founding principal of Studio M Architecture & Planning, with the 2026 Carmel Architecture Award during a ceremony set for 11 a.m. Aug. 12 in the Brham Founders Club at Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts.

The award recognizes leadership in landmark architecture and redevelopment in Carmel. During his career, Moriarity helped design the Payne & Mencias Palladium and has worked on more than a dozen mixed-use redevelopment projects in the city’s urban core. His portfolio also includes the Carmel Clay History Museum and the Carmel Police Department headquarters.
Before founding Studio M, Moriarity worked for CSO Architects for 27 years. The Carmel resident is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and has worked on design projects throughout the U.S.
The recognition ceremony is open to the public. Guests should enter through the west lobby doors.
