“So, I just sold my house and just went, ermm, Barcelona. I know, it’s mental.”
O’Donnell has always been particularly independent, and she’s now relishing the next chapter in her life.
The TV star said: “I’ve always been hyper independent. And if I wanted to do something, I’d done my research and then just did it – you know what I mean?
“And there’s a lot of good and bad with that. You sort of learn by mistakes – and as you keep going and stuff, and I’ve had plenty. But this time, thankfully, it’s worked out really well.”
The actor also opened up about her decision to cut ties with her family, revealing how therapy influenced her decision.
“That’s part of the therapy. I had to go no contact with my entire family,” she said.
“But, it’s just one of those things, you know. And the more I’ve sort of talked about it and been honest about it, I’m seeing it’s, unfortunately, not the most unusual thing for adults.”
