Huawei has recently unveiled two amazing foldable handsets – Pura X Max and the MateBook Fold PC 2026, but it seems the company is working on another small folding device. While many suspect it to be a phone, it is more likely a laptop.
Some tipsters suggested that Huawei has a new small foldable device in the making. The product will probably launch by the end of this year with an iconic appearance.
A tipster mentioned that Huawei has a new premium foldable device that will debut by late 2026. Later, the same leakster said that this creation can be a small MateBook Fold PC Ultimate Design.
The thought of working on a small folding-screen notebook isn’t that bad! An 18-inch display is perfect when you require a massive workspace and desktop-level immersion. However, such a kind of notebook has its own drawbacks.
For instance, a large-screen laptop has extremely high physical weight, bulky design, and poor portability, which fails to fit easily in standard backpacks. Besides, such a device has a very short battery life. Perhaps the OEM is trying to address these issues.
Details reveal that the small folding product, which is expected to be a PC, can use a cover screen. Now that’s a real upgrade, as thinking of an external display on a laptop is itself quite incredible, and Huawei might implement it in reality!
Whether the company has made any decision on such a creation or if it’s just a rumor is quite unclear at present. However, if it happens, the small MateBook Fold PC will likely debut by the fourth quarter of this year.
