Samsung’s next-gen smartwatches — the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 — hit shelves on Friday, Aug. 7, and are now available for sale. There are a few direct discounts and trade-in offers available right now to make it a little easier on your wallet. CNET’s shopping experts have rounded up the best bargains below so you can snag one without paying the full price.
While the Galaxy Watch 9 looks quite similar to its predecessor, things get interesting under the hood. It comes with a beefier battery and a more powerful processor this time around. The engine driving it all is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite chip, the same one powering the Ultra 2. You also get new fitness metrics and can create a custom workout plan for yourself for free.

AT&T is offering several ways to save on the 44mm Galaxy Watch 9 before it hits shelves later this week. Just purchasing the watch on an installment plan will save you $100, bringing the price down to $9 per month. Plus, you can save more if you’ve an older device to trade in.

Which new devices launched in August?
Samsung announced the Galaxy Watch 9, Watch Ultra 2 and other new Galaxy products, including new phones, during the Unpacked event in July. The new Galaxy Watch lineup has officially been released on Aug. 7 and is now available for purchase at many retailers, including Amazon and Best Buy.

When will the XR glasses be available?
Samsung revealed more details about the upcoming glasses, saying that durability tests for the glasses show better strength than standard eyewear, “multiple times stronger than regular glasses.” Samsung has already filed more than 200 patents related to its smart glasses technology.
