There is a lot of policy floating around out there, so we’ve had to make some judgments about what we have included.
First of all, we’ve had to make a judgment about which parties make the grid. We’ve included all the parties currently represented in Parliament plus the Opportunity Party which, according to our Herald-Motu Research Poll of Polls, stands a good chance of entering Parliament after the election.
We’ve also had to make judgments about which policies we’ve put on the grid. We’ve tried to include all obvious campaign commitments. Sometimes, a party has long-standing party positions that are not necessarily part of its core manifesto for the coming election.
In some cases, we’ve had to be selective with what goes on the grid.
