We Are Farming Minds is taking part in Beef Stock 2026, a food, farming, and entertainment festival happening in Bromyard on August 22 and 23.
Their involvement comes at a time when rural communities face increasing barriers to support, with mental health concerns in farming 46 per cent higher than in other sectors.
Suzanne Hunter of We Are Farming Minds said: “Beef Stock is hosting the We Are Farming Minds stage at a pivotal time, when poor mental health in farming is 46% higher than in other occupations and rural communities have less access to support.”
The charity has created a dedicated food and farming stage, sponsored by Two Farmers, featuring talks and discussions from agricultural innovators and food specialists.
Panels will cover topics such as woodland history, farm diversification, and next-generation farming.
The stage will also feature speakers like Gareth Watkins of Gillow Farm and TV presenter and farmer Ally Hunter Blair.
Ms Hunter said: “By offering a packed programme of talks and sessions across the festival weekend, we hope to meet with fellow people working in farming, agriculture and land based enterprises and provide support and connection.”
Elsewhere at the festival, visitors can enjoy BBQ demonstrations, cookery tutorials, and a chilli-eating competition.
Food will be served from multiple Beefy Boys stations, alongside guest vendors such as Gurt Wings and Jerk Bay Ltd.
The Marketplace will host local traders, artisan butchers, BBQ brands, and food producers.
Entertainment will also include music and live acts across stages sponsored by Wye Valley Brewery, along with family-friendly activities and performances from artists including Jake of Diamonds and Razzamo.
Tickets for Beef Stock start at £16, with free entry for children aged 12 and under.
