A number of fibre outages are impacting internet connectivity in different parts of Auckland.

RNZ readers in the suburbs of North Shore, Hibiscus Coast and Papatoetoe have all reported issues with their internet.

Chorus’ map shows several outages dotted across the Auckland region.

More than 240 connections are down across
a wide area of the North Shore, covering Albany, Redvale, Long Bay and Rosedale.

Technical teams are investigating and Chorus estimates internet should be restored by tomorrow morning.
