In the South Island, the Queenstown Woolworths store also has a similar sign at the entrance, adding that they hope to get some more soon, with no date given for when that could happen.
Across New Zealand, online shoppers are also being warned that “due to high demand”, Ooshies stock is now limited and some online orders may not include the number of toys they qualify for.

Collector cases are also reportedly out of stock across multiple stores.
The same situation is happening across the Tasman, with Australian customers also left disappointed after several stores ran out of Ooshies days before the promotion is scheduled to run out.

The company says that, to help customers complete their sets, it will host a final Ooshies Swap Day on August 22. The swap day will happen at all Woolworths stores in New Zealand, and run between 10am and 12pm.
Several community groups across New Zealand are also hosting their own swap days to help people exchange their repeated toys for the others they need to complete their collections.
The Ooshies craze has swept up New Zealand over the past few weeks. Several schools across the country have had to issue notices asking parents not to let children take the toys to school, as the toys became a distraction and a source of conflict among students.
