“Oh baby… number 3 is on the way and the boys are already taking their big bro duties seriously,” Jeffreys wrote to her followers.

“Swipe for the moment Oscar told us it’s a … GIRL! We hope she digs footy merch, because there’ll be a lot of hand-me-downs.

“Jump on board, baby girl. It’s fun here. 🤍🎀.”

The post was met with an abundance of congratulatory messages from her followers, with her Today Extra co-host David Campbell writing: “I am still crying I love this for you all so much. Let’s go girls!”

Today’s Jayne Azzopardi added: “Welcome to the boy gang, baby girl!! A whole lot of love coming your way.. 💞💞.”

Jeffreys and Stefanovic, who married in 2017, welcomed Oscar in February 2020.

They went on to welcome their second son, Henry, in April 2021.

The happy news comes off the back of fellow Today star Sarah Abo celebrating her own baby joy just weeks ago.

Abo and her husband of more than a decade, Cyrus Moran, welcomed baby Sonny in mid-July after she departed the show early to go on maternity leave.

Today’s sports journalist Danika Mason also recently revealed that she and her fiance, rugby league player Liam Knight, are expecting a baby girl, due in December.
