Armed police responding to an incident in the northern Wellington suburb of Johnsonville have left the area.
Police were called to Johnsonville Rd this afternoon.
Some officers were armed as a precaution and the public earlier advised to avoid the area.
“There is not believed to be any threat to
public safety,” police said in an update.
