This week has been a whirlwind. A quick trip to New York to experience Virgin Voyages’ new Brilliant Lady (squeezed in the electric Jinkx Monsoon and Michael Urie in Oh Mary! too) and now in Atlanta for NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists conference. Then tomorrow off to Toronto for the film festival! I’ll sleep next week… oh, wait, that’s the Emmys! —Patrick Gomez, Editor-in-Chief

A worthy follow-up to The OfficeThe Paper centers on the documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin as they find new subjects with the eclectic employees at The Truth Teller, a historic but dying Midwestern newspaper led by larger-than-life managing editor Esmeralda Grand (Sabrina Impacciatore). Her newsroom is turned upside down with the arrival of new editor-in-chief Ned Sampson (Domhnall Gleeson). With an infectious passion for old-school journalism, Ned works to revive the paper, recruiting the existing, albeit wholly unequipped staff — including one recognizable head accountant (Oscar Nuñez) — as reporters. —Jessica Wang, Staff Writer

The Gallagher brothers‘ first U.S. performances in nearly 17 years have been, as Liam would say, pretty biblical. Even if you can’t make it to this weekend’s world tour shows at Pasadena’s Rose Bowl, cue up the newly released live version of “Wonderwall” and show Britpop’s reigning bad boys some respect. —Jason Lamphier, Senior Editor
