Woolworths said it wouldn’t comment further while police inquiries were underway.
Hato Hone St John said it received several calls about 6.25pm and sent an ambulance, rapid response unit and operations manager.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand told the Herald two fire engines responded to Woolworths Sunnynook, with crews assisting police and ambulance staff.
