North West is the eldest daughter of two of the most famous people of our lifetime, Kim Kardashian and Ye (formerly Kanye West), but she wants to work a “regular job” like everybody else.

In an interview with Dazed promoting her debut EP, the 13-year-old that she wants to work at Starbucks once she turns 14.

When asked what she do if she wasn’t chasing a career in music, North said: “I still wanna work. I wanna work at, like, Starbucks next year..

“I think I can next year ’cause I’m gonna be 14.”

The teenager added, “I want to have a regular job, I guess.”

North is the eldest of Kardashian and Ye’s four children, including siblings Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, seven.

The budding musician shared that she previously wanted to pursue basketball, though that is no longer what she aspires to do.

North added she ignores people who tell her to wait until later in life to launch her career.

“It’s like, nah, this is my hobby this is what I like to do, this what I wanna do with my life.”

North dropped her debut EP, N0rth4evr, in May when she was 12 years old.

She released a music video for her song Aishite, which means “love me” in Japanese, on August 6.

Just before her 13th birthday, North performed solo at a music festival for the first time at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash 2026 festival in Illinois.

Days later her billionaire mum, Kim Kardashian shared a special birthday tribute on Instagram.

“Happy Birthday my Northiiiiiieeeeeeeee (Uzi voice!!!)🩵 I can’t believe you are officially a teenager!!!!!

“There’s no one like you my baby girl! I love being your mom and watching you grow. I love you to the aliens galaxies you would speak of as a kid and beyond. 🖤👽🛸🩵💙.”
