Alongside Woodall at Eden Park were director Serkis and co-stars Elijah Wood, back as Frodo, and Irish actor Jamie Dornan – known to many for Fifty Shades of Grey – who’s stepping into the role of Aragorn.
Dornan has been seen out with his wife, and Wood has also been spotted on his old stomping ground, Cuba St Mall; it’s understood his wife of one year, Danish film producer Mette-Marie Kongsved, has been visiting too. But there’d been no sighting of Fahy – until now.
United States actor Fahy and British actor Woodall made global headlines when romance blossomed despite their White Lotus characters barely sharing screen time in the show’s second season in 2022. The pair went public with their relationship in early 2024 but have kept things relatively low-key since.
Fahy shared pictures from her time in New Zealand to Instagram on Wednesday.
“New Zealand. A little bit of waterfalls, a little bit of me falling off a cliff,” Fahy wrote.
In the North Island, Fahy and Woodall took in Huka Falls from the bridge and by jetboat through the rapids. The couple have also spent time at vineyards thought to be in Marlborough and taken in the Southern Alps.
Fahy has plenty on her plate, too. She’s fresh off Netflix’s Sirens, and before that played Merritt Monaco in The Perfect Couple and Sutton Brady in The Bold Type. She’s since been announced to lead HBO’s five-part limited series The Trial of Louise Woodward, playing Deborah Eappen, the mother of a baby allegedly shaken to death by his 18-year-old au pair. The series is based on a real-life case from 1997.
