“Why they tried to target us, we’re dumbfounded. Absolutely got no clue.”
The couple have been at their Dominion Rd site for six years, in which time a car has crashed into the shop, there have been attempted break-ins, and someone once defecated outside.

Despite that, Tarek said they loved the location and surrounding community.
They donated to surrounding primary schools and gave free haircuts to people in need, she said.
“There’s just some people, you know, that really ruin it and make it difficult for us.
“We get really heartbroken about stuff like this because it’s personal for us. It’s our own baby, you know, it’s our business.”
She and her husband were locals who had built their business “ from nothing”, she said.
“We try to do the best we can for our small business and just seeing somebody try and destroy it like that is really sad.”
Tarek said she looked at the bright side of the latest incident, despite the likely $6000-$7000 repair cost.
“I’ll just post it and try and put some light on it, you know, that these guys actually should go to the gym because they couldn’t even break a glass window with a crowbar.”
Police said they received a report of wilful damage to the shop.
Inquiries were being made to identify and locate those involved.
