Taylor Swift has stepped in to help a family facing a difficult recovery after a woman was seriously injured while trying to save someone else during a road accident. The pop star has donated $50,000 (approximately Rs 47.7 lakh) to a GoFundMe fundraiser set up for Ashley Taunton, her husband Joe and their three children.
The money will help the family manage everyday expenses while Ashley continues to recover from injuries that have already required multiple surgeries.

While Ashley was helping at the scene, another vehicle reportedly lost control on the wet road and moved towards the people gathered there. Ashley pushed another person out of the vehicle’s path before she herself was hit.
She was seriously injured in the incident and now faces a long recovery. The fundraiser says Ashley has already undergone two major surgeries with more medical procedures expected.
