A person has died following a collision between a car and e-motorcycle in East Auckland this afternoon.
Police said they were alerted to the crash on Eros Rd in Flat Bush around 1.35pm.
“Initial indications suggest one person sustained critical injuries.”
St John paramedics were also at the scene.
Footage from the scene showed a red vehicle with damage to the passenger side door and wing mirror.
Eros Rd is closed and motorists are advised to expect delays.
The serious crash unit is in attendance.
Enquiries into the circumstances behind the crash are ongoing.
