Community paints murals on Nashua Heritage Trail
MANCHESTER, N.H. —
There was a creative celebration in Nashua on Saturday that will last for years to come.
Artists invited the public to help create 15 permanent murals to decorate the Nashua Heritage Rail Trail from Elm to Ash Street.
The organization, Art-City Nashua, dreamed up the mural and music festival to transform the area known as the “Tree Streets” into a public art display.
Artists joined people from the community to make masterpieces, even leading a spray painting class.
The festival included live music on two stages, dance lessons, food trucks and art classes for inspired artists.
