Two Kentucky sisters are racing around the world on CBS’ ‘The Amazing Race’
MURRAY, Ky. —
Two sisters from western Kentucky are trading their hometown for a race around the world.
Katie and Charlotte Schultz of Murray are among the 14 teams competing on the upcoming 39th season of CBS’ Emmy Award-winning reality series, “The Amazing Race.”
The show follows teams of two as they travel around the world completing physical and mental challenges.
Teams learn their next destination only after completing each task, with the teams furthest behind eliminated as the race goes on.
Katie, 26, and Charlotte, 20, are both estheticians and will compete together.
They’re joined by teams from across the country as they travel more than 25,000 miles across 5 continents.
Throughout their journey, they’ll visit a total of nine countries and 13 cities.
The winning team will take home $1 million.
