Jewellery retailer Michael Hill International’s new strategy appears to be paying off, with the group reporting a 376% year-on-year increase in statutory net profit after tax.

The group announced that Rob Fyfe will retire as director and chair of the company on November 28, 2026.

The board has appointed current non-executive director Claudia Batten to succeed Fyfe.

“As part of our broader reset, we are also refreshing skills and capability across both the executive team and the board, with succession planning a key focus,” the company said.
