The skier was extracted by emergency services about 1.15pm.

One patient was flown to Dunedin Hospital, a spokesperson said.
The status of the injured skier is not yet clear.
Treble Cone Ski Area is the closest ski field to Wānaka and operated by Cardrona Alpine Resort.
It has a mixture of intermediate, advanced and expert terrain.
