Ray Winstone’s upcoming Prime Video action-comedy Danger Money has added a slew of exciting names to its cast, as filming gets under way in Malta.
Doctor Who and A Discovery of Witches star Alex Kingston and Game of Thrones actor Iain Glen have both joined the ensemble of the six-part series, which is produced by The Tourist and The Assassin creators Harry and Jack Williams.
They are joined by rising talent Arian Nik (Count Abdulla, Daddy Issues, Film Club) and Mimi Keene (Sex Education, Towards Zero), who complete the line-up alongside Winstone, whose recent credits include The Gentlemen, Damsel and Sexy Beast.
Kara Tointon (EastEnders), Sean Pertwee (Gotham, Dog Soldiers, The Siege) and co-creator and co-writer Oliver Maltman (Red Eye, Lockerbie: A Search for Truth) will also star in the series.

Winstone plays Alan ‘Razor’ Sharp, a former SAS operative haunted by a botched mission in the ’90s that left his reputation in tatters and his best friend dead.
Decades later, still plagued by guilt and desperate to rebuild a relationship with his daughter, Razor is pulled back into the world he had left behind when an old friend, played by Pertwee, resurfaces with a job too good to refuse.
Razor travels to Italy, only for events to spiral. Forced on the run with a motley crew made up of his impulsive “nephew” Jamaal (Nik) and secretive tag-along Roxy (Kingston), he is thrust into a violent conspiracy involving hidden war spoils, corrupt institutions and powerful enemies determined to keep the past buried.
Tointon stars as Maggie, Winstone’s on-screen daughter, with Maltman as Maggie’s partner Gavin and Keene as the mysterious Ana. Glen plays a pal from Razor’s younger days.

Kingston described her character Roxy as “a character who keeps you guessing”, adding: “She swings from intelligent and professional determination on the surface to emotional complexity beneath.
“The adventure she finds herself on leads her to a greater, empathetic understanding of the human condition. The scripts balance action, humour and heart brilliantly, and getting to play opposite such an exceptional cast is really exciting.”
Nik added: “I’m buzzing to be joining this production. The scripts are hilarious, full of twists and a lot of heart. Ray and Alex are both legends in their own right and it’s an absolute honour to be sharing this journey with them.”
