Allsopp, who remains in hospital after emergency leg surgery, commented on the post, thanking the team, including Lotte.
“So grateful, and love that you were able to see the sun set on my Birthday in my favourite spot,” the Location, Location, Location host wrote.
“Many Congratulations to Lotte, I hope I wasn’t too unmanageable on all those painkillers you had quite the task on your hands on that path.”
The British presenter shared with fans yesterday how a birthday tradition this year nearly turned into tragedy, as she slipped on a muddy patch on a steep path on a beach in Devon and had to be airlifted to hospital.
“Almost every year since Oscar was born we have celebrated my birthday at Meadowgate, one of my favourite places on earth.
“We have a picnic on the beach at Welcombe Mouth, a swim and a walk back to the house for some cake,” she told fans on Instagram.
She did not make it to the house for cake and, after a nasty fall, had to be rescued and airlifted to hospital, where she underwent leg surgery.

Allsopp struggled to remember many details of the incident and her rescue but thanked everyone responsible for getting her to hospital safely.
The broadcaster paid tribute to the paramedics and ambulance workers who helped her.
“God only knows what I was like to deal with high as a kite! Everyone at Barnstaple hospital has been amazing, kind and caring, so many lovely people doing their absolute best,” she told followers.
The TV host told fans surgery went well and she will be home soon and in “a boot and crutches for a while”.
“I feel very, very lucky that it was possible to reach me and get me to hospital so quickly, and I have a job that I can do on crutches,” she added.
