Before uploading the video, Cohn told fans he was advised by Aussies to go light on the Vegemite and heavy on the butter.
“It is pungent,” he said initially.
“It’s definitely not Nutella.”
However, he eventually admitted he was a fan of the spread.
“I like it,” he said.
“It’s good! Okay, it reminds me of like Bullion, or chicken stock, or MSG.”
Cohn explained he was a big fan of what he called the MSG flavour, complimented the “savouriness” and felt it worked well with the “toast and butter experience”.
“This is great, we should have this in America,” he concluded and recommended it to other Americans travelling to Australia.
His latest review was of a magic coffee and a Tim Tam, both of which he had rave reviews for.
“That was great,” Cohn exclaimed.
“It’s kind of like an Australian Oreo, I would have to say, but the cream filling is chocolate and it’s covered in chocolate.
“You could argue it’s better than an Oreo.”
Despite calling the biscuit “outstanding”, his experience was improved when he dunked it in the coffee.
“It’s better with the magic coffee. Can I bring these home with me to America? Do they have Tim Tams in America?”
Tim Tams are sold at US Costco stores, but Australians were left unimpressed by American fans who referred to them as cookies earlier this year.
