A Perth man and his two young children have been found dead inside a bungalow in Kuta, Bali, with local police investigating what they believe may be a murder-suicide.
Damien John Shaw, 56, and his Indonesian-born children, a six-year-old boy and four-year-old girl, were found about 10.14am on Sunday local time after concerns were raised for the family’s welfare.

Police believe the Mr Shaw’s wife, who had travelled to Jakarta four days earlier, asked a neighbour to check on the family after calling home and hearing one of the children cry.

When she tried to call again and got no response, the local community head and several neighbours went to the bungalow and forced their way inside after repeated knocks went unanswered.
Inside, witnesses found the man and the two children dead.
Authorities are continuing their investigation and an autopsy is under way.
A Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade spokesperson said consular assistance was being provided “to the family of three Australians” who died.
“We send our deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time,” the spokesperson said.
