After going home from the hospital, she said she began seeing the glowing orbs.
“When I was first home from the hospital, I couldn’t sleep at night and I was sleeping in the day,” she said in the interview.
“When I was laying on the couch, sleeping and awake, these orbs sort of presented themselves to me. These five orbs presented themselves to me and they sort of talked to me, but in a digital language,” Stone added.
She said she kept seeing these orb-like “moving, pulsing lights” for “several days” and that they spoke to her.
“I just kept saying to them, ‘I don’t know if I’m supposed to stay here or if I’m supposed to die’. And they said, ‘You’re supposed to stay’,” she recalled.
Seeing the orbs was not a frightening experience. “I was curious, but very much at peace,” she said.
Stone also said she asked the orbs to protect her son Roan, who was only 1 at the time, and the orbs agreed to do so.
Roan had been adopted a year earlier by Stone and her then-husband Phil Bronstein.
Now 68, the actress said it took her many years to recover from the stroke, which impacted her movie career.
