A person is in hospital following a reported assault at a school in South Auckland.
Police said they received a report of an assault at a school in Māngere at around 12.25pm.
Hato Hone St John said it was “notified of an incident” on Gray Ave in Māngere and responded with an ambulance and a rapid response vehicle.
“Our ambulance crew treated one patient in a serious condition and transported them to Kidz First Children’s Hospital at Middlemore Hospital.”
Police added: “Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the assault are ongoing.”
