New Zealand international goalkeeper Jamie Searle has joined English National League club Eastleigh on a short-term contract.
He arrives as a free agent after spending last season with National League South side Eastbourne Borough.
Searle (25) made eight appearances in all competitions for Eastbourne after joining the club after leaving Forest Green Rovers.
Whakatane-born Searle moved to England in 2019 and has subsequently been contracted to Aston Villa, Swansea City, Barnsley and Forest Green Rovers.
He spent two seasons with Forest Green, mainly providing goalkeeping cover, before making his first-team debut in May 2025.
He has one senior international cap, playing 90 minutes in New Zealand’s FIFA Men’s World Cup qualifier against New Caledonia in 2022.
Searle was also part of New Zealand’s squad for the Tokyo Olympic Games, where the OlyWhites reached the quarter-finals.
